This year’s church leadership conference was held from Thursday 26th January to Tuesday 31st January 2017. Church leaders including pastors and church elders from the various branches throughout the country were part of the retreat which was held at the headquarters at Nungua Adogonno. In his address to the leaders, the presiding Bishop and founder, Bishop Noble Francis Afotey Odai encouraged the church leaders that church planting was war and involved a lot of work but they will be able to prevail by keeping their focus on the Lord and through hard work.
He taught them to have set visions and tangible goals to help them achieve their visions. They also learnt a lot on shepherding, improving church growth as well as effective administrative and financial management skills among others. There was also a leadership training program held after this program for the leadership of newly adopted churches. This was to help them understand the doctrines and teachings of the church as part of the process of incorporating them into the Maranatha Power Ministries family.
