The act of knowing God is not only seeing his works but learning his ways with giving as the ultimate. As one of the primary objectives of reaching out to the rural communities in Ghana, Christmas parties have become one of the tools of the Maranatha Power Ministries International.

The care of the poor is a branch of charity which is the act of showing mercy in the love of God .In these age and day there are still children and even adult who are deprived of a good plate of food, hence the churches decision to share the love of Christ through feeding.

In this year’s annual Christmas party which started on the 7th of December 2013, a team led by Pastor Richard Liston from Ohio fed a total of 18,000 people (children and adults)in various region .some of the villages included Anomabo,Atebubu,Ayibontey,Begoro,Krabokese,Tuabodom and Asamankese. Countless number of people were fed with Jollof rice and chicken .They were also given soft drinks (u-fresh)

However the final days of the party was held at the premises of the Maranatha Power Ministries International headquarters. Children commuted from the surrounding communities such as Teshie and Nungua and the joy of seeing smiles on the faces of these children was fulfilling.
